Excellent quality bit with a good feel! I have this bit in the slick mouth & the 3 piece dogbone! I love it for my horse that can be a little sensitive and dramatic about a bit. I love the clear ques and instant release this bit gives. It had helped him not get hung up leaving a barrel where alot of gag bits are delayed release of pressure & some shanked bits are too much leverage for him. He rides well in both! I do feel the dogbone is a smidgen softer/ more forgiving for him. I flip flop between the two depending on if its a new place or same old same old.. Bought the SC-77 based off of the descriptions of what each mouthpiece did differently and how my youngster is riding around currently. He is softer,
more responsive, and has way more bend. I do feel like I have total control with the Twisted Wire Port, which is great as he is a horse who needs clear signals. Will be buying one in the future with my finished horses favorite mouthpiece too.
