Shipping Policy
All Shallow Creek Bits products are handmade in Pelham, Tennessee. While we strive to keep turnaround times as short as possible, many products are made to order and may require additional production time before shipping.
Most in-stock items ship within 3 business days. Orders requiring production will ship once completed. Production time may vary depending on order volume.
Please note that shipping and delivery dates provided by USPS and UPS are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Once an order has left our shop, it is in the possession of the carrier, and tracking updates are provided directly by the shipping service.
If you need an order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering. Expedited shipping options only affect carrier transit time and do not reduce production time for made-to-order items.
Shallow Creek Bits reserves the right to substitute a comparable shipping service when necessary due to carrier availability, service changes, or shipping costs.
International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, customs fees, or brokerage charges imposed by their country. International orders are final sale and are not eligible for return.
Shallow Creek Bits is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, stolen packages, or damage that occurs while a package is in transit. If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and include photos of the damaged package and contents.
If a shipment appears lost, customers must notify Shallow Creek Bits within 14 days of the expected delivery date. Replacement decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Returns & Refunds
Because our products are handmade to order, returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
• The item must be unused and returned in clean, like-new condition.
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Approved returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee.
Due to the nature of horse equipment, items showing signs of use, wear, rust, alteration, damage, or that are not returned in clean, resalable condition are not eligible for return or refund.
The following items are not eligible for return:
• Custom or personalized products
• Special-order items
• International orders
• Products showing signs of use, wear, alteration, rust, or damage
Orders may be canceled and refunded only if production has not yet begun. Once an item has entered production or has shipped, the order is no longer eligible for cancellation.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to process the refund.
